personally i think the higher the income the more taxes one should pay and that the government should be involved (even if minimally) in regulating businesses so i do absolutely believe in a strong government, but also in globalism and anti protectionist bullshit @danilo your clarifications are really needed, thank you xD @marc, i did? phew

For people in my social structure, I am considered a Fascist due to aspirations to restore a lost past (especially Brazil bc it had some glory in its Imperial days), morality, social stability and pre-modern aesthetic. Modern aesthetic is way too shitty in my opinion. Indeed, I am archaic. I actually believe the rich should pay more taxes than the commonfolk, but I abhor the common Latin leftist mantra that only the rich should fund the State themselves and stupid regulations that we Brazilians have. Well, Latin America has a whole tradition of USA-backed Military Governments combating Soviet-backed Communist Guerillas. The Cold War was basically... that. I am not a Nationalist per se, I am more of a PaleoConservative/Classic Liberal.

its always interesting to see how different our opinions can be! while personally i disagree it still is very interesting to see how different people can differ on ideologies despite having so many other things in common

I think there is one better way to measure ideologies rather than the Political Compass. Give me a moment.

This takes more knowledge around politics to measure your place. It is harder, but more precise.

Yeeeah, I take issue with this chart's design. It's obvious the creator was a right winger with his own views.

The descriptions should be biased (especially on the Communist description), of course. Something a Right-wing conservative would hate to admit is Hitler being a Conservative (at least here in Brazil, where neocons say Hitler was Left-wing due to his anti-England stance).

Nono, I mean it does in no way accomodate for the variance of far-left political views. It for example in no way accommodates space for anarcho-communists. They would not fit on the chart.
