Here’s another thing. People legit can feel bad about things outside themselves and things affecting them it’s just with the internet and how frequent it happens if a bunch of people die that is so far removed from you, you don’t actually have to care as much. It’s still sad but the capacity to care for that thing is based on how much the individual is willing to put into even if they can’t do anything, so not everyone should or half to.
