am i weird to listen to the chinese zodiac? i don't know why but im able to make more sense out of my life with it and explain why i have such a hard time with certain family members. just out of curiosity what zodiac are you? both chinese and western. im the "dog" and "gemini" and my element is the "wood" all these 3 describe me very well. another thing i learned from the chinese zodiac that's true is that when you make a friend with the dog you cant leave them alone too long. that's very true with me, i begin to feel very sad and abandoned (then again i am since my friends don't even try to contact me T-T)

Um as for your first thing I think it's not necessarily like " bad religions" as a lot of people sound like I think it's a lot of this scenario: Person rises to power and claim or because they are a certain faith. They themselves are corrupt or maybe have some kind of mental disorder. They lead a lot of lemmings who do what ever the person says to do and don't actually go learn something for themselves. That is what I seem to see a lot even in america with those people who picket outside of concerts and cons. They get all the publicity because they make the most noise. Sadly people like me who actually research this and try to see things from other people's point of view well staying firm and strong in my faith and being respectful to others are not usually publicized and lumped in with what becomes the stereotype of people that believe what I do.

as for the zodiac I am not quite a believer in it though it does seem to make majorly accurate guesses at what my personality is like and who I mix with. It usually is like 60-70% accurate but it's mostly stuff I knew already and learned just by living my life. It interests me to say the least. I am a Sagittarius, and a Ram. I haven't really read much into what is the deal with ether of them or what that means for me though XD

I'm not heavily religious, but I am Christian. I was brought up Catholic by my family since my grandma is a hardcore Catholic. Recently, I started going to church again, but it's Baptist. There's some minor differences, but the ideas are practically the same. My two best friends got me to go there since one of them is Baptist and the other was Catholic, but converted since he's marrying her in October. I like going to the Baptist church more than I ever did the Catholic one. Catholics are so sullen and depressing compared to Baptists. I have nothing against either or any religions, but that's just my thoughts. I don't care if you're religious or not, it's your choice what you want to believe and I or no one else should stop you from believing whatever it is you believe (or not believe) in.
