I really do think a big part of why my PC is crashing is because of the shitty problems with my Intel CPU. As you can see this company is going down like friggin Blockbuster. If you are building a PC, DONT get an Intel CPU. Period. I used to like and believe in this company, but they make mistake after mistake after mistake. They just don't know how to control CPU temps. As of right now the Core Ultra 9 is the only good Intel chip, and that's only at the highest price point which will only be useful if you are heavy into streaming or video editing.

https://pricetracker.wtf/ I'm using this to track price changes across multiple retailers. Hopefully it works.

I'm still sticking to AM4 here since I don't have a need to upgrade. I haven't kept up with PC news in a while, but wow Intel really did go down the shitter. I thought they were doing pretty alright last I heard. Hoping they get their crap together since having both Intel and AMD keeps them competitive.

As of now, CPU and GPU have stagnated.

I guess they have. I don't do workstation stuff, so I don't really know anything on that end, but for everything I do use my computer for, my current set up is fine enough. My Specs: Case: Cooler Master TD300 Mesh Mid-Tower Fans: 3 Arctic P12 120mm fans front, 2 Arctic P14 140mm fans top. 1 120mm fan back (Came with case) PSU: EVGA 750w (unrated. I know, a sin, but I trusted EVGA on this. Plan to swap it out when I have the money.) Motherboard: MAG B550 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI (AM4) CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor CPU Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34 eSports DUO GPU: ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 3090 Trinity OC 24GB RAM: 32 GB Ram at 3600 Mhz Storage: 1 TB NVME SSD for OS, 1 TB NVME SSD for Games, 1 TB HDD for Backup, 2 TB HDD for games I don't play as much. (Both HDDs are WD Blue, NVMEs are a 980 Pro and 980 respectively.)

@verucassault https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DGVBM73J?tag=pcpapi-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1 consider this motherboard. It has less screws and more magnets making PC building aspect stronger

I think Vex has a good spreadsheet kind of putting older gen and new gen NVDA cards side by side. For the lower price point the last generation 4070 Super is actually better than the 5070 in raw frame generation. I ran the value per dollar for every single spec in this, and time and time again the 5070 TI came out ahead of the others as being the best bang for the buck.
