So I just checked if I needed health insurance plan for our @verucassault 's and my trip to japan. Then I looked at the actual cost of emergency services if something happens and we have to stay in the ER. A trip to the ER completely uninsured in Japan is the same cost as me going out to eat 4 times here in the US.
Man, we really get it straight up the ass when it comes to paying for healthcare in the US, don't we?
