Remember that you're not in Murica anymore. All these "muh freedoms" arguments go out the window in the different country with different laws and different justice system. You're not kansas anymore. I would memorize the embassies phone number by heart. Imagine you get arrested by mistake. It would be really funny if the you call the embassy and it goes to voicemail xD. If all else fails. While doing my searches I'm surprised that the Red Light District in Tokyo is very subdued. Osaka's looks crazy as hell by comparison. I don't really want to see these places, even out of curiosity but still, you see people of all ages and even older couples walking in the Tokyo one. Maybe it changes after midnight? Dunno.
