Rules I have to obey, but don't understand PT.1 1. Not allowed to wear what I want. There are times when I am given the chance to pick clothes that I wanna wear, but most of the time, it is my parents who will decide. But between my mother and my father, it is usually my father who gets to decide. My father will always go for semi-formal or formal clothes even on not-so-important days. And he is very particular about the smell of the clothes and the cleanliness of everything we wear. We will not go out not unless he approves of what we wear. He also wants our shoes spotless/clean. He notices even just slight stains. EXPERIENCES: a. Overheard Father: I decide the clothes they wear My Father's Aunt: What about their freedom? b. Confused friends/classmates Me: *Wearing formal clothes* Classmate/Friend 1: Why are you wearing formal clothes? Me: My parents are gonna be here tonight and will join em for dinner. Classmate/Friend 1: Okay, but...Do you really have to dress formally? Classmate/Friend 2: You don't know her father c. Cousins Cousin: Whenever you're not home you get to try so many things. You're like a wild child. In a nice way.
