This is true. My knee jerk reaction is to disagree but I know I have preferences depending on sauce and toppings. Seems legit.

I think people will get triggered with food since eating is a vulnerable experience. Lots of animals hide themselves when they eat or keep a lookout. Plus food can be emotional even cheap foods since you can share it with others. Lots of people have nice memories with chicken nuggets. That's my guess why it hits us.

Idk if it’s cause the way I grew up and I was always thankful for any food I got but I think almost any nuggets taste good, I do admit I taste a difference if my family actually gets a different brand we can compare it to the others we tasted and that’s only when I notice a difference XD.
