Things That Scared/Scare You

This is a thread for things that scared you as a kid, or maybe they still scare you. Looking back there were some stupid things on the TV that used to scare me. Like the show Rugrats. I loved the show, but there was a bunch of things on that show that scared me as a 4 year old kid watching it. Of course now I look back and laugh, but back then it was nightmare fuel. Once again I love the movie, but watching David Bowie screw with gravity in a place where physics forgot scared me for some reason. Even had a dream I still remember from 25 years ago where I was on a staircase and it wouldn't end. I would go up and look down and my mom was at a level below me, I go down for what seemed like minutes.
