I don't recommend becoming cynical either. It's not worth it, I was woth a woman who had a child. Several months down the road I'm playing daddy and helping raise her. She cheated on me and kept saying things like it's your fault because you didn't stop me from doing it even though I had no idea it was going on. I left the picture and after a couple of months the little girl died from the heart condition she was born with. I was then messaged again being blamed for the death because I didn't stay. I was so furious and mad I wanted nothing to do with anybody and couldn't trust relationships anymore and blamed women for awhile. I'm not proud of it but it was a dark time. Point being you can't throw away trust and close yourself off to everyone or these feelings will only get worse. As @yasasshat pointed out very eloquently most people are good and a few are bad. If you become cynical then you'll just see everyone as bad and can miss out on a lot. This is just my view on the subject though. I really do wish you the best in your journey to find the trust and respect you deserve king. Just know it's not something that may happen right away it may take time happen. Hopefully this didn't go on to long and makes semse
