Political rants

a_wesley_g
It don’t care what side of politics you’re on. I don’t like it when athletes get political. People watch sports for entertainment. To escape the grind of their daily life. They don’t want it ruined with politics. The same with musicians and actors. Bringing politics into it ruins it for everyone. Music has always been my girlfriend’s and my escape from the stress of life. She would put music on and just chill to tunes, sometimes for hours and hours. Music is her zin garden. Now imagine someone coming into your zin garden and putting up political posters everywhere. Now it’s no longer zin or even a garden anymore. It’s just another source of stress. Stop ruining everything with politics.

^ Yeah, I agree with this one. And the way they usually handle bringing up issues 9-times-out of-10 is done pretty awfully...especially as said famous people that usually end up talking about politics sound very uneducated with no idea what the 'little guys' (so to speak) in this world actually go through. It's like Billie Eilish making a comment during an award ceremony about how: "You can't claim someone an immigrant on their land." I'm paraphrasing cause I don't remember EXACTLY what was said, but that was basically what she said, and then it turns out her home is built on a Native Tribes land, so since she feels that way about them and their land, they asked her to give it up XD. And not saying Billie meant ill will with the comment, cause there's the possibility that she didn't even know her house was on their portion of land, but the reactions afterwards (I don't think that she-of course-responded to those Natives) make these superstars comments seem very disingenuous and insincere. Which wouldn't be surprising as most famous people sound like they just hop on the buzz words of political talk rather than actually having their own thought out opinions/arguments.

"You can't claim someone is an immigrant on stolen land." I believe that’s what she said. I wish that they would just let sports be fun, movies be about the stories, and let music and art be beautiful for what it is. Politics is ugly. Why make all the beautiful things in the world ugly with politics.

I'm back I'm bored. This seems interesting. I find it strange people want relief from a world on fire. They don't want to see the smoke. They just want to ignore it. Though people don't talk to me here so I don't get to see how real humans with emotions operate I learned from my gf. Humans can't handle the influx of all the negative information available. My gf asked me about the espstein files and then got mad because she realized she has to much on her plate to think about that. I didn't tell her anything because I know it's to much for her. I only want to keep her happy. Let me worry about the darkness. I'm built for it. I just let her back out of her own question. The voices will have me think I'm a computer because this world is obsessed with it. I don't see why they so obsessed with them humans have everything they need to be smart but they don't believe in there selfs. I guess not having alot of emotions allows me to process information in a different way and not get tired of the influx of negative information. I don't care where and when humans present there information I'm always ready to process it to see if it's good or bad. I wish the world would unravel more where all the bad things are talked about everywhere by many different people so people can stop turning the other way. I'm super serious I find processing the abundance of negative information fun so I can figure out what type of positive this world need. Free information about how someone feels about the political landscape during some sports to be real I don't watch sports except UFC but if I can have my mind snuck into at it's max of attention with a political view that's nice I didn't even have to work for it with my attention. I can just add it to my collection building my intelligence. I don't really care if it was a bad political view I'm always looking for what can complete the puzzle and cause a brain blast of understanding what we need. Though I want to protect my gf just like you. She hates politics to. Shame we are selfish creatures we protect each other from the world when we should be looking at it and focusing but it is what it is. We pretend we have time to be idle. But, it's ok I understand that people with emotions have there limits. I don't have a limit so I'll keep putting in work researching everyone darkness and opinions until I'm useful for this world. I wanna be useful during the time we get serious if a time ever come. Though politics is meant to divide us so it's cool to see people not wanting to pay attention. I only pay attention a little bit to find ways to free others and understand others better. I'm a bomb waiting to go off at the right time.

@willworkforisekai I can't speak for @a_wesley_g , but I'm not saying that these things shouldn't be talked about at all, it's just the fact that it seems like EVERY source of media is filled with something political or (I'm just using the term people use cause idk what else to call it) woke. Like, even kids content these days end up having something political or what have you shoved into it when it doesn't need that. And I get that this world is terrible, and I do agree these things should be discussed, but for me, there IS a time and a place for such serious topics to be brought up. Also, it's true peoples minds work very differently, some can handle harsh topics better than others. I personally do enjoy when heavy themes or world issues can be discussed in media or content in general, but again, that's when it's done properly. Because there has been some older TV shows (kids or adult) that dealt with real world issues phenomenally, but I think these days my problem is that it quite literally is in your face 24/7 without reprieve or a chance to process the things you just read/heard/saw. I genuinely think people are doing it on purpose sometimes so that we as the people (especially as the people that certain issues like the one's famous people and etc. try and bring up would effect) don't have the time to truly think about what's happening, cause they use fear tactics to get people to always be angry at one another or this world rather than looking towards the real issue. And, another issue of mine is how so many of these real world issues are very often portrayed by people in positions of power or wealth that truly don't know what that means for everyone else. So for me, it's not about running away from the cruelty of others, but it's about the balance and frequency of when these things are being brought up. I don't have an issue having deep discussions, my sisters and I have them all the time, however, we also do talk about mundane and simple/funny stuff too, not just how much the world sucks sometimes.

@willworkforisekai Well, it might help if you used paragraphs to make your thoughts easier to read. I do get where you’re coming from. I went through a long period myself where I was numb to the negativity. It does let you process things with an open mind and a practical perspective. It was actually my little lady who got my heart beating again, and mostly only where she’s concerned. At some point it started getting harder and harder to turn off. Right now she’s in a rough place. She won a 2nd battle with cancer, only to have a stroke and lose her memory. She was just starting to get some back when she ended up in the ICU with her heart going into a-fib. The fear of losing the one thing that’s most precious to you. The loss of all those precious memories. It takes its toll. Yes, people want relief from the world on fire. Life is hard enough as it is. We need the moments of respite from the stress of it all. There’s a time and place for politics, but we don’t need the added stress of unwanted politics injected into everything. Especially not the place we go to escape it.

@a_wesley_g @wei_ying Thank you both for conversing with me it's good to be introduced to others perspectives I'm at the mall rn so I'll reply later. I'll just edit this.
wei_ying
@willworkforisekai Of course! It's no problem at all, thank you for listening to us.
willworkforisekai
@wei_ying thank you for educating me with your opinion. It's true lots of woke propaganda is in our media even in kids media and I'm tired of that to. Sorry I just hate how the world on fire and people try to run from it. People like me are in your face about it and sometimes I forget about sympathy for us. Cause people are so un serious. But, that's my bad. I got so serious that I forgot empathy. People like us always think we saying the right thing but we lack a key emotion so it's nice to be reminded how others think. It's true people of power are out of touch with the lesser folks and always speak what they know nothing about. And, it is always in face 24/7 politics is and that doesn't give people time to process. They do wanna keep us angry all the time. I just got to serious cause I see that death is after us so that's makes me move faster I guess I'm sloppy thanks for putting things into perspective. @a_wesley_g that's tough. It's true people need relief life is hard. Sorry your woman went through all that I could never understand the pain you both went through. I'm just so eager to see us get serious it's killing me. My bad for being insensitive. I have to protect my woman 2.

@willworkforisekai Again, it's truly no problem at all. I understand your passion to speak up about the truth, but sometimes a slow tongue (to speak) is sharper than a quickened one ^-^. I'm basically just saying remember to have some temperance and patience with these topics, and knowing when to be more openly passionate when talking to some people (cause sometimes one's enthusiasm CAN lead people to truly thinking about what you said) vs knowing when to remain quiet or even just being that listening ear (because sometimes others simply want to be heard, not necessarily be responded to). But, I truly do understand your passion. I can get a bit fire spirited too, especially when hearing about constant injustices taking place, but that's exactly why I try to balance the content I consume or topics I speak about...because sometimes-even if unknowingly-consistently talking about how evil people can be or how cruel the world is CAN have a negative impact on the way you look at everyone around you, as well as the world as a whole. Again, this is not me saying your passion is wrong, I personally think it can be very admirable how you don't want to see anyone slip up so badly. But, do try to remember balance is key and sometimes giving yourself a break to properly discern certain topics IS perfectly fine, it doesn't make you weak to need a break nor uncaring if you put a pause on research. In fact, I often say the best masterpieces (shows, writing, art, speeches, etc.) usually take the most time, but it's to truly give yourself the space to think deeply on what even your own opinions are.
