So to dismantle toxic masculinity we need to not just accept that no one has our backs so that people will start to have our backs? That makes no sense. Toxic masculinity doesnt exist bro. Its just men realizing no one looks out for us but ourselves. Then women have us brainwashed to believe we need to act a certain way. What happened to all these R&B singers from the 90's and 2000's? Singing about loving women and all that compared to music now that talks about never trusting women and all that. The song Roxanne for example. "She's from Malibu, Malibu if you dont have a foreign then she laugh at you" this the kind of stuff thats normalized.

Where is the body positivity for fat men? Oh but women love to come and rub oil on a shirtless muscular man without consent. God forbid i rub oil on a woman's chest. Sexual offender for life.

Also, just to add I watched that entire podcast, it was JRE. I don't know who that guy was but was completely fascinated by his stories. He's talking about Anthony Bourdain in that segment. The "movement" you liked was banned from Reddit? No surprise there. The internet is a pretty global thing. Male body positivity is out there. It may not be as prominent but I would say that's because more focus has been put on women for their looks. They get it from both men, women, as individuals, companies and various industries target women specifically for their looks and size. It's more of an issue for us. But, it's growing for men as well (body positivity that is).

I mean are women sexualized? Sure like probably even hypersexualized. But women also sexualize themselves. There are plenty of clips of people asking women what would you do if you lost your vagina and wanted to keep your bf around. Most of them said their ass or mouth none said anything about personality. They dont even value themselves enough to think the dude would stick around if they couldnt have sex. Male body positivity probably exist but its probably judt like a wave thing. Like body positivity and then we move on. But women are consistently told its ok to be fat and all that. Even saw videos where fat women say if the dude doesnt go to the gym then she wont date him. Like bro. The movement was banned from reddit yeah no surprise but this has become a bigger issue than just being banned. The male issue is getting worse. Men are basically being demonized.
