So apparently brazil with its low population compared to the US is gonna surpass us in deaths from covid. Just a reminder than the US isnt th worst place on earth and media is really fear mongering this virus. Other places have it worse

@hell_hound7 We didn't surpass you yet? Whoa, I am surprised. But we're reaching there! Still. It's expected. Because the US had a isolation & vaccine plan. Manaus (in the State of Amazonas) lacked oxygen in hospitals for weeks due to the federal government's incompetence, and the President (and the former ""Health"" Minister) had the gall to put all the blame on Amazonas' governor (he had his share of guilt for diverting and overpricing the resources, thus causing the lack of oxygen. But it's the Federal Government's responsibility to supply states in emergences, which it completely DIDN'T do). Still. The President and the former Minister received the title of "honorary citizens" of Manaus. Brazil... is a republic of bananas.

I saw a video last night of the mass crematorium they have set up in India, and one of the doctors was saying how tragic it was that there were so many young children dying there from COVID. Yeah, it could definitely be worse here.
