Political rants

hell_hound7
Ok yeah we werent talking about the same thing i was talking about numbers ur talking lifting restrictions. I mean even if they didnt lift them people wont listen. Even here in NC i literally see no one wearing a mask outdoors and only put it on BECAUSE of mandatory mask mandate. But number keep rising anyway despite the restrictions. People just cant be expected to keep this up after a year.

Why can't American politics be more like Malaysian politics? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4iyuYbgt0I

as for 'we cant have kids not going to school' theyr is distance learning, i even did it for my final year of highschool. as for stores closing, the majority of stores are considered essential businesses, and restaurants are just restricted when it comes to servicing. they can still sell food, seating is just restricted and in some places forced to deliver the businesses that are unable to keep up with this is really troubling, but id rather businesses go under then human beings dying. I'm sick of worrying about my family because of selfish death cultists

@momoichi online schooling isnt the best for everyone. Sometimes they need that physical presence. Being at home has too many distractions and plus kids also use school to get away from toxic households sometimes

Also businesses go under lead to some families literally going homeless. Tbh

you know whats not best for everyone? mass deaths whats bad for the economy? mass deaths id rather those families go homeless than fucking die what are you proposing? no restrictions and, what? we pretend like everything is normal while half a million people are dead because of this virus in America ALONE and there are new, more contagious strains popping up more and more in these areas specifically with lacks restrictions??

Um... we have 500k, uk has 125k, we have around 4 times the deaths though we have 5 times the population While i agree we need to take things seriously, your arguement sheer number of deathes dont work... we have 328 million people living in america, 60 something million in uk, a higher population will of course have higher deaths Im not saying that deaths are ok, but lets not use a number of deaths as if that is the only measure...

That said, covid comes from a corona virus, something we get each year. Its also mainly a respiratory virus, which is highly common. It was constantly said you cannot stop the spread only slow it (flattening the curve) closing things down, and anything like that wont help in the long run, getting vaccinated, and just taking daily percautions like washing your damn hands, needs to happen. Covid was politicized pn both sides, lets not blindly think it wasnt

ill put it like this its estimated that 15% of the American population has contracted covid. although only half a million people have died from it, keep in mind the lasting effects that the virus reaks on the body even after treatment. and i still stand by the fact that half a fucking million people dying is horrific, idc if our population was a trillion, that's too many fucking people! this is the united states of fucking America, the wealthiest, most powerful country on earth! how could we let that many people die?? unless you would actually argue that our response to covid was proper, then you have to concede a large chunk of those deaths were avoidable, making it all the poor frustrating.
