how do i get gf?

I'm really new to this dating thing myself. I think from what I've gathered from my months analyzing things is you need to present yourself in a confident, but not an arrogant fashion. Don't whine about not having somebody and have clear goals. You're going to need to talk to women if you want a girlfriend because they aren't coming to you by mail. Have some standards and don't just date the first woman to give you attention. Walk with your head up high and all that. I feel like you can be shy and still find a girlfriend as long as you look confident enough, can pay for your dates and aren't miserable to be around. Looks matter to a degree as well, but that can be worked on if you try hard enough. I think if you want a girlfriend (me included), you need to actually work for it. Don't be somebody who seems desperate or doesn't work on themselves.
