Issue with uploading pictures?

Hey. I've been trying to upload some selfies of myself into my profile's picture section, but they just upload upside down and I'm not really sure why. Does anybody know a fix to this? I am obviously holding my device the right way, so it isn't upside down? Is this a common problem or is it more likely on my end?

It happens when I upload it to my profile. It uploads normally and then on the picture section, it is upside down. I then click it because obviously I am confused and notice it's now sideways after I go to view the specific picture.

yeah a few of my pics are like that too I'm pretty sure its just too big, if you resize it on imgur or something it'll upright itself
