Its hard to explain it XD like i feel whoever is trying to win mid US is working twice as hard in a sense. Not in terms of population but in terms of points. Cuz you gotta win these states plus the ones with bigger points. Where as with cali boom the point difference of about 10 states. You can literally win texas and 2 or 3 other small states and not make it nearly as high as the one cali

they arent though, because of the swing states
cali means nothing when nearly the entire midwest is red
like both sides have around roughly equal points without swing states, which is why they are so important
