They're not though, I'm not sure what you consider to be reasonable ideas, but the ideas that I have seen being presented have been incredibly simplistic and have not offered next to no solution. I have not seen this 8cantwait campaign before but from a short look at the site it is an example of a somewhat sophisticated solution. Would you agree with me if I said that it would have been way more beneficial if people were chanting the name of that campaign instead of "Defund the police" and other vague ideas? For your second point of course I wouldn't care, it's a video game and in video games chaos only bounces in the way that the writer wants you to see. In reality chaos isn't only in one place. I am not sure if the government would listen if protesting was done with more concrete and detailed solutions, but I would definitely say that there would be a higher chance. As for the voting thing I 100% agree the voting system in the UK and US is pretty dreadful.

And I kinda love that we're talking about White Supremacists because just yesterday Tim Poole was talking about how Daryl Davis couldn't even talk down the ANTIFA people who crashed their event back in August 2019. He's turned 200 people away from the KKK but can't talk down extreme liberals. If that tells you anything.

@matchesia yes that i 100% agree with, defund the police is a terrible slogan because on the surface it sounds stupid, and you shouldn't have to explain a slogan to someone, it defeats the purpose but this slogan was chanted during the protests, which isn't what we were originally talking about but we can absolutely expand the topic into this as well the issue with the blm protests came a lot down to the fact that a lot of people wanted a lot of different things, because it was the largest protest in American history so this is expected but there was a general consensus and that was defunding SOME police precincts to allocate the budget into more public services, which I'm sure we can both agree would most likely be a positive change. hell even police themselves want this, they don't want to be called for domestic disputes and wild animals some police precincts would need a budget increase to increase screening and give better training, but the bigger issue in the discussion was mostly the bloated California police budget, so it wasn't talked about as much and i brought up the videogame because it reflects reality. there are actual riots over dictatorships, i can point to Thailand actually right now if you want a real world thing i can point to we don't condemn them because they are rebelling against a corrupt government, but when it comes to corruption and injustice in our government people should shut up and take it? no ofocurse not, and if protests arent working then riots are the next step the people WILL be taking until the government does listen to these issues and they DIDNT listen to the protesters, tiny lil breadcrumbs were thrown out to satiate them but it didn't work because it wasn't any meaningful change, it wasn't the olive branch the people wanted, instead, they had a president calling them thugs and politicians that said 'when the looting starts, the shooting starts' the agitated masses were faced with just more agitation @verucassault the statement reads that the vast majority of white supremacists are Christian, not the other way around. it was 4 am and i was half asleep so it wasn't worded the best
