On Poole - I follow his podcasts. The more that I hear, the more I find I am agreeing with him.

Living in Virginia myself, I remember that Charlottesville protest and I was reminded of what happened in Blacksburg with Virginia Tech.
Fortunatelly the death toll in Charlottesville was only 1 vs the half dozen at Tech, but any life lost for such a frivolous matter is wrong.
-
I do appreciate what you yourself said about the importance of not over simplifying problems.
-
Fortunately America has kept most of the violence isolated to specific states and cities, but if left unchecked it could easily grow into something far worse.
-
I am sure many well educated know that plenty of less fortunate countries have to deal with things like the Charlottesville protests on a daily basis. What's worse is they have no where else to go but to forcibly leave their home nations to seek asylum in other nation's borders causing a mix of complicated relationships.
-
With the immigration of other nations coming into America on mass leads me to believe America is a better nation to live in, but at the same time it would be greater if the leaders of those other countries would be willing to work with the US rather than against.
-
"Here take the excess people we don't want and then let us blame you for being a terrible country stealing our resources."
-
I mean everyone including our own children are growing up saying they are anti-American because all our founding fathers were evil.
-
Do they not know that our founding fathers were all slaves to other countries?
-
England, Spain, Portugal, France, and the Dutch were all vying for power over the Americas long before the United States was a thing.
-
Yet no one seems to be angry with those countries for laying the foundations for SLAVERY/CLASS/NATIONALISM/ or GENDER roles.
-
America has more diversity than any other besides Canada.
-
I mean how diverse are the Russians or any Asian country.
-
This does not mean the US gets a free pass to be ignorant, yet no country can say the United States is the cornerstone of what is wrong with this world.
-
The problem is something that each individual person on planet Earth has to be individually responsible for. Making excusses to continue practicing poor humanitarian efforts while using a military to strong arm its people into submission will not gain the results its individual citizens need nor benefit from.
