Dislike Button for Maiotaku ?

Right now , as much as I am aware , there is no dislike feature for posts on maiotaku .I am aware that there is a small cross button on the bottom right of each post ,but I am not sure if it does anything . Dislike button has its own pros and cons . I wanted to know whether you all would like to see this feature implemented and why

I never really felt the need to dislike something, unless it was offensive/hurtful. The X button as far as I'm aware doesn't do anything. Most people on here are really nice and wholesome. Dislike button might be useful, but not sure it's neccessarily needed on MO. It might give people a better idea of what others don't like, but dislike buttons have also been abused in the past to spread hate. If people decide getting a dislike button on MO is worth it, I'm okay with that. If people decide they don't want it, I'm okay with that too. I'm fine with MO either way. I'm not really a picky person.
