Watched it when I was a kid. The concept was terrifying, comparible to the first time I saw the Exorcist as a kid. Probably the two scariest of the genre indeed.
While that was one of the more visually scary scenes. The movie overall is the only movie to scare me to this day and it is more in concept than anything else.
Its so weird finding out so many years later, all the things that inspired Silent Hill. I just found out last year the music by Yamaoka was inspired by Portishead and even in Silent Hill 1 there are posters of Portishead in the game.
I actually did not know that. There is a Youtuber called thegamingmuse who does a lot of Silent Hill symbolism videos and a lot of the origins of the lore of Silent Hill such as alchemic symbols and the like that you might find interesting.
John Wick has nothing on the Raid series. This movie was so hype I dropped my limited edition Metal Gear Solid Revengeance wallet at the theater and never found it to this day!
