Stock market addiction

Yeah, no. I agree. My boyfriend made quite a bit of profit trading bitcoin which I'm not a fan of either.. but money is money I guess. In our society we sadly need it.

Never was financially that substantial to be able to affort such gambles. I got to a point in life where I just aim low, enjoy the smaller things in life and be happy. Money is necessary, sure I am ok with the amount I make, I do not need to travel the world, buy expensive clothes and indulge in materialistic ways. The goal of capitalism should actually not getting more rich but instead making an affordable life for the everyone, so that everyone can make a living, that wouldn´t be capitalism anymore I guess.

Idk about anyone else but im investing longterm. I have 3 mode of investing. Savings, retirement, and i guess a back up to my savings? In bitcoin. Its mainly so i can LIVE life. Im not just content with surviving. Surviving isnt living, i wanna go out explore and enjoy my life while i can. You only get one chance to live as you. So invest, living in the now might sound all cool and all until something unexpected happens. I have been there too many times that i learned my lesson.

By aiming low I don´t meant surviving. Honestly if we all keep traveling and wasting energy like that and build bigger companies, that is pretty much the end, global warming will get us all and I don´t wanna tell my kids that I fucked, just because I got greedy and wanted more and more, which lead to me endangering the environment more. I understand that it is a different thiing in the US, compared to Europe, Germany etc. when it comes to retirement and saving money for healthcare etc. Thats why I think those things need to change in the USA, regarding this and many other things. Bitcoin is just too reliant of fossil fuels to energize it, which destroys the environment, thats why I have a strong dislike regarding that but I do realize that I am fortunate enough to not rely on those 'gambling' to be able to affort healthcare etc. I got a roof over my head, food in my stomach and can affort my books, video games and got time and money to hang out with friends. That is the most important to me, I am not really materialstic in many regards and I don´t see a benefit in traveling the world.

Yeah I don't mess with anything that has Chinese influence. Their government has way too much control and can manipulate the market or will try.

I actually just bought a chinese stock today. taking a gamble on tencent. Seriously, this market has been crap ever since Biden has been sworn in

man, the market has been crap lately. You never know how much small cap stocks you own until you get f'ed in the a on them. I keep on buying CNK and it just keeps on dropping lol
