Stock market addiction

Do you actively lose money? The stock market is pretty predictable so it's a safe way to enlarge your assets. Although I think my brother probably suffers from a stock market addiction. He checks his phone every 2 minutes or so for changes. That's definitely not healthy. If you are addicted you have to treat it like any other addiction. Abstain whenever you can and only spend time on it when it's reasonable.

I dont loose money lol. once or twice i had t ocut my loses but overall im good at picking stocks. Also i wouldnt exactly say its easy to predict. The market runs on emotions. If it was predictable, we'd all be rich on call options. There is some degree of predictability i guess graph trajectories. Anyways i digress.. I should have been fearful when people were greedy. Didnt really take a step back and look that maybe tech stocks were getting over valued. Im sure within the next month or so all my shit will be back up anyways. Its only a loss if you sell.

Yeah, my only problem is not selling when I obviously should be selling. For example, I’m extremely bullish on telehealth and could have sold TDOC for 300 bucks a pop but I decided to just stay long and now it’s 180 a share. Missed opportunity to sell and re-load.

Gonna open an acorns account boys, stay float or go broke! Hopefully im not biting off more than i can chew ^^; i just recently decided to drop 20% of my check into my IRA and wont know how that affects my pay until april buuuut YOLO tryna get my hands on some tendies. Millionaire by 40 lets go.

Unless you know what your doing. Probably not a good idea to short in general. The stock market generally but not always tends to go up. It doesn't mean you can't make money on shorts. But you just have to be more careful.
