im not a fan of the change to the new forum ui, i personally prefer the threads on one side and the boards on another but i always appreciate the effort on prettying the site up :3!

I think the updates are fine. (not a huge fan of the name thing but mehh). Also could just have a setting for UI orientation.. kinda like a 'theme' if you will. Assuming you dont want to add more junk to an SQL database, could probably do it with cookies and managing UI div placement with JS. I've always liked options lol.
