Best current generation game platform?

Many keep discussing about the Switch. Some mention PS4, its upcoming PS5 and the Xbox One. Some rather go with hardcore emulation devices like the GPD series. Any suggestions?

Personally I like using a PC to game. I don't think the PCs are going anywhere anytime in the future so you don't have to worry about converting anything other than occasional part upgrades and it has loads of games available too. In personal experience, I've also found keyboard and mouse controls to be much easier too
