Hachi-nan tte, Sore wa Nai deshou! (The 8th son? Are you kidding me?) https://cdn.myanimelist.net/images/anime/1146/106370.jpg Synopsis: Shingo Ichinomiya, a 25-year-old man working at a firm company, while thinking of tomorrow's busy working day, goes to sleep. However, when he woke up, he found himself in a room unknown to him and realized that he is inside a 6-years-old body, taking over his body and mind. He soon learns from the memories of the boy that the boy was born as the youngest child of a poor noble family living in a back country. Having no administrative skill, he can't do anything to manage the vast land his family has. Fortunately, he is blessed with a very rare talent, the talent of magic. Unfortunately, while his talent could bring prosperity to his family, in his situation it only brought disaster. This is the story of the boy, Wendelin Von Benno Baumeister, opening his own path in a harsh world. My thoughts: Well the starting plots definitely seems a copy of another anime that's airing this season. But it was nicely animated and seems like it'll be interesting to watch. It started out with a slight harem feel which would make it lose points in my perspective, but I'm hoping it doesn't go that direction. I think it's worth giving a shot.

Arte https://cdn.myanimelist.net/images/manga/3/131495.jpg Synopsis: Arte was born into an aristocratic family in Florence during the 16th century Renaissance era. Being female, it was unheard of for one to become an artist. Driven by her love of art, Arte is willing to cast aside her aristocratic lifestyle to become an artist. My thoughts: It's very nicely animated... but the plot... could it be more forced... I cringed a bit at the main heroine... But maybe it just ended up that way trying to cram too much into a single first episode. I'll give the second episode a try before I make up my mind about it. It really was nicely animated. Maybe it'll turn out okay.

Kakushigoto https://cdn.myanimelist.net/images/anime/1476/106372.jpg Synopsis "We will open the curtain back in time, to the story of one lone manga creator." This story is about Gotou Kakushi, an artist who draws a somewhat vulgar manga, and tries to hide it for the sake of his daughter, Hime. A father-daughter tale of love and laughter. My thoughts: When I first read the synopsis, I thought this isn't one I'd watch, but it turned out really funny and cute. They did a good job making the daughter a very adorable character. And the father is pretty funny, and thankfully not a total creep. It had a fun light hearted feel good kind of air to it. I'm definitely watching this one.

Listeners https://cdn.myanimelist.net/images/anime/1589/106391.jpg Synopsis: Set in a world where the concept of music ceases to exist. The story begins when a boy encounters Myuu, a mysterious girl who possesses an audio input jack in her body. The two intermingle with the history of rock music and embark on an unforgettable journey. My thoughts: The animation was a bit rough, but I think that's more just the style in which it's done. This one is a bit hard for me to give an opinion on with only a single episode. They started out with some pretty extreme effects in the fight and the end of the first episode, so what are the battles going forward gonna to be like. But it was enough though to get me to watch another episode. On a side note, I wanted to beat down that mayor so bad.

Nami yo Kiitekure https://cdn.myanimelist.net/images/anime/1615/105582.jpg Synopsis: The stage is Sapporo, Hokkaido. One night, our heroine, Minare Koda, spills her heartbroken woes to a radio station worker she meets while out drinking one night. The next day, she hears a recording of her pitiful grumbling being played live over the air. Minare storms into the station in a rage, only to then be duped by the station director into doing an impromptu talk show explaining her harsh dialogue. With just one recording, the many eccentric facets of Minare's life begin to pull every which direction as she falls ever deeper into the world of radio. My thoughts: The animation wasn't bad, but there's not a lot I can say about the plot from the first episode. I really didn't understand what was going on at first, or what the hell the bear was about. I'll watch another episode to see, but I could easily pass on this one.

Tower of God https://cdn.myanimelist.net/images/manga/2/223694.jpg Synopsis: Tower of God centers around a boy called Twenty-Fifth Bam, who has spent most of his life trapped beneath a vast and mysterious Tower, with only his close friend, Rachel, to keep him company. When Rachel enters the Tower, Bam manages to open the door into it as well, and faces challenges at each floor of this tower as he tries to find his closest companion. My thoughts: The beginning plot didn't really make sense to me. It's the type of randomness you'd only get in a dark fantasy. The animation wasn't bad at all. I'll probably keep watching just cause it seems a bit interesting. But the plot makes no sense at all.

Hamefura (Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta) (My Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!) https://cdn.myanimelist.net/images/anime/1315/106420.jpg Synopsis: Eight-year-old Katarina Claes is the only daughter of a duke, living her life peacefully and without incident until she hits her head on a rock... and then remembers that she is not actually the duke's daughter. She used to be an otaku who died on her way to school after spending the previous night playing Fortune Lover, her favorite otome game. After noticing that her current surroundings seem oddly familiar, she is shocked to discover that she has been reincarnated into the world of Fortune Lover as the villainess. The villainess in the game usually winds up dead or exiled, so Katarina decides to use her knowledge of the game and its routes to avoid any bad situations. But is it even possible for the villainess to reach a good ending? My thoughts: I originally wasn't going to watch this after reading the synopsis. Otome Game aren't my thing. But I try to give first episodes a chance cause you never know. This was pretty comical, and will be making it into my watch list after all. I'm curious to see what kind of flags do actually pop up. It seemed pretty interesting. An odd new twist, and the third re-born in another world plot airing showing this season.
