Coronavirus. Your thoughts? [Serious and Non-Serious]

How many days have you been infected? I've heard the effects of the virus removes taste and smell. Is that because of a stuffy nose or is it more neurological? At least with your fever being slight I take it that means you haven't gone over 103 Fahrenheit.

Generally speaking anything above 103 F means you are internally cooking. Organs start to shut down and you're brain goes into shock.

Got my second positive test result yesterday and the loss of smell is because the inflammation can interfere with airflow and the ability to detect odors

heard that it gets harder and harder to hold your breath as the symptoms get worse...don't know how much of that is true though

Thanks for the the info Laurawr. Hopefully you'll keep us posted on your recovery. The holding breath theory Koro is not accurate. Though if you have inflammation in your lungs or throat the ability to breathe would become more difficult.

Interesting to see the posts from the US citizens, I'm afraid the spread there is at its first stage and its frightening for me to think what will happen there. Before proof that corona is just a mutation, I also used to believe that it was engineered to cut down on the world population in its most crowded areas. However that got shut down after it spread to Europe and the rest of the world like a wildfire. Another conspiracy that I have been thinking is that the timing of this virus as well as the economical crash. Of course it was known there would be a crisis regarding finances this year but I doubt anybody expected it to be enhanced by the virus.. Or did they? It is with great sorrow that I think many countries still care more about securing themselves financially than worrying about the health of the people. Such disasters are always used by some gain power. Isn't it funny how our society is built up on something that actually doesn't have any value? I'm the end the main cause for this and many other issues in our world is globalisation. Would the situation ever have gotten so bad if the west world didn't use China as a cheap labor country? If every country could sustain themselves in some production field and share it with neighbouring countries, wouldn't it be better? For some reason I feel like the roles of China and the West will be reversed at some point, and we will become the victims ourselves to such treatment. A future where we have all united into one race and where we live in a same culture, as they say... I think we won't even get that far. Humanities steps against nature are facing worse consequences as we continue to carry on with our ways. These sort of pandemics and other catastrophes will continue to become more and more frequent as we will try to habitat and destroy every inch of this environment that we live in. Many are seeing these incidents as a sign of nature trying to correct us. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.
