Shin Megami Tensei V

Any idea when the game is going to come out? The teaser video came out over three years ago. It feels like Atlus has completely side lined the project in full favor of focusing only on Persona.

I don't think it was canceled but I also remember it took them awhile to finally unveil SMTxFE as well after the initial announcement. I'd say if we don't hear about it in a direct soon or by E3 this year, then you could definitely say it's in development limbo.

I'd say check out some gameplay. It's definitely not a perfect game, but it might be worth it especially on sale as a stopgap until the new one hopefully does drop. I didn't bother with the Switch edition since I already had the CE on Wii U from a few years back.

Little did they know not only had SMT V came out, but that it would be released twice!!! With a vengeance!
