That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime. Not trying to start a war or anything with the Dragon Ball fans. Personally, Rimuru solo's the entire Dragon Ball universe in his demon lord form, which is his third strongest form.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7C5ANNV5mU Le Chevalier D'Eon. Just before the french revolution, 4 French knights embark in a dramatic adventure across the back alleys of europe in order to discover the mystery behind D'eon's sister's death, and a conspiracy of poets who wield the psalms as weapons. Some of the best goddamn fencing I've seen in an anime. Not to mention, supernatural shit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdxu-f-fCEo Mujin Wakusei Survive. A sci fi survival story about a group of kids from a space station that crash land on an alien planet that looks remarkably like earth. It may seem simplistic, but this anime goes places where anime nowadays are afraid to tread. Exploring character trauma, environmentalism, self defense, sacrifice, and what it truly takes to carve out a living when you're stranded, galaxies away from civilization. Surprisingly mature for a children's show. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6BA28AMugU Guin Saga. Based on a japanese fantasy novel (Not light novel, but an actual novel), the story follows a pair of royal twins on the run, who are saved by a leopard headed warrior. This anime has some very old-school gen x Swords and Sorcery vibes. We're talking Conan the Barbarian, Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser, and Elric of Melnibone vibes. It feels like a breath of fresh air compared to the fantasy tropes we get in anime these days. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0Po_B_d_Uw Hanasaku Iroha. You probably took one look at this and thought "Oh great, a bland slice of life devoid of substance about cute girls doing cute things... Yeah, I suppose there are moe vibes, but if you go into it assuming it will be like that, be prepared to get blindsided when the show takes the kid gloves off and shows you what reality is. To be an optimist is to be at war with reality. Hanasaku Iroha tells a very human story about adolescence, angst, frustration, grit, and determination. About an odd ball named Ohana who's deadbeat mom plucks her from the city and tosses her out into the country to work at your grandmother's onsen hotel over the summer. The comedy, the drama, and the character writing and developement all feel very natural. And often times, its the most subtle moments that hit the hardest. Here's a box of digital tissues. You'll need them.

"Taiyou no Ouji Horusu no Daibouken" is quite unknown. It's an early Touei Animation anime where people like Isao and Miyazaki contributed to. There are quite some songs inside, well animated fights, but also two scenes that clearly demonstrated that their budget was tight.
