Recently did an essay on polyamory. Conclusion I came to is that it's a viable option with a lot of benefits. So, I have a positive opinion on polyamory.
I'm someone that's fine with being in a poly or mono relationship.
To each their own, but I'd just call it having your cake and eating it, too. I don't particularly think it's a need, just something some people are comfortable with and something others aren't.
I've had experience being in such a relationship. It didn't work out but I equate that to the nature of the people involved rather than the concept as a whole.
Good question I'm sure it has its own benefits, the thought of having more than one partner sounds kind of appealing. But i'm more of a one girl kind of guy. (what guy here hasn't wanted their own harem at a point?)
