Hi guys and gals. I'm not expecting much here but it's hard to find anime fans out here in rural America. <Especially ones without that pesky Y chromosome>
I've never gone to a con, haven't done any cosplay. I just have this ritual of getting cozy each night and watching two episodes of sweet sweet Japanese pink-tar heroin. So I'll be around. I've done some pretty interesting non-anime things with my life too, so feel free to start a conversation with me about anything.
Since we're all autists here I'll provide a general format: "Hello Minecamp. I saw your post on X and thought that was pretty based. What do you think of Y?"
Heh, well, for one thing, I've actually read mein kampf.
For another, I've driven around 2000 feet underground. One time I saw some wires on the tunnel face that seemed like they shouldn't be there. I pointed it out to the newb geo and she looked worried. She told the head geo and it turned out the blast hadn't gone off that day. We were looking at a wall full of explosives ready to detonate. Haha that was funny.
Same, Ghost. Much as I like democracy, I can't help but see some truth in Hitler's characterization of it as "a system that promotes the avoidance of accountability". I think Hume had a similar argument for authoritarian power structures.
I found his black and white view of the world interesting. He had a fantasy of Aryans being the greatest of humanity and his fantasy of Jewish people being everything bad in humanity.
