@feral That's a really interesting work. I'm going to look this artist up and see if the intention was to make it appear unfinished with the focal being all the blank/white spots. You see that the artist delicately and with soft colors put patternworks into the clothing. Then started picking up on the pale skins and wigs. The look first stuck out before actual people did, who they are, what they are doing. When looking at works people, at least English people start with the upper left quadrant because that's where our eyes would go for reading. That's about the same area where you see a heavy color hue and saturation of the night sky and where it abruptly meets with what at first glance, looked unfinished. Kudos. Great art work.
