For the longest time I've been remembering the faintest hints of an anime I used to watch in the early 90's. I think it was a monster anime where the main character was a zombie and there where lots of sports...I really only remember soccer in it though (maybe football) and the main character is trying to either get back to the living world or his wife...maybe both. Does anyone remember this anime? Can you tell me the name?

mmm well not sure, but one series i knew from the 90's with a zombie playing football was mutant league, but im not totally sure
