I'm starting to lose my patience, I think I can't even complete the last month. We only meet once for a meeting every week and we always start late. Boss last week said he'll send me references for my training, pmed him at noon received reply late afternoon, and he said he'll send it later. It's midnight now and I haven't received a reply. It's always like this.it sucks because I can't find s company that will hire me and I've been searching for a long time now. Maybe it is indeed time to quit and look for something else.

Unpaid jobs is not something I would support. They are basically getting legal free work from people by promises that won't always be true. Start looking around for another job that does pay. Stay silent about it till you can succeed. One user was right. If by the three months they still want to do an extension leave. That way they won't fault you for quitting before the agreed time of said training.

I asked my coworker and he said his unpaid training lasted a year before he got a salary.

A year? Holy shit.. how can somebody pay they bills when you got no money that time? Is that legally in your country - being unpaid for so long?

your first mistake was going almost 3 months of unpaid training to begin with. in situations like these go with your gut after a month if they still wont pay you. your initial post reads as clear as day... They are using you for free labor. like everyone else said, get the hell out! also indeed.com is great for anyone seeking fast employment without the lengthy ass in person applications. super quick to apply to anything listed. usually only takes about 2 minutes, and a call as soon as a few days or less if you attach a resume, or cut to the point of what you want and what you can offer skill wise in the dialoge box it provides you upon applying to a listing. ive gotten my past 2-3 gigs thru this site.

I have tried indeed and jobstreet in the past and I have no luck with the jobs. Maybe art isn't just for me. but I hate customer service and most of the jobs available are call center agents.

I don't have the time money or power to sue. man why are jobs for creatives like this? was looking into glassdoor reviews and the one I applied to said: Low salary, mandatory long hours and unpaid overtime, why is it always like this? I feel like im stuck, jesus this is depressing

I don't have any experience in your particular job field, but I have heard stories from others regarding the unpaid internship cycle. Oftentimes they never pay out because they expect people to give up and quit before they are hired, or offered compensation. Sometimes this process takes multiple years... how people can survive that long without pay I have no idea...
My take is this: Look for a job. Doesn't even have to be field related. Stock a grocery store or something to pay the bills. Get your work experience on your cv/resume and keep searching for jobs. Don't be afraid to throw up a little patreon or something and do commission work or whatever you feel enhances your portfolio. Just do what you need to do to put food on the table, and keep your eyes open for opportunities. Wish you the best.
