23 tends to be the average of people I find emotionally mature enough to date, so with a few exceptions, I try to cut off around that age.

For me I go by a rule my dad told me to set which is if your gonna date ether do it two years younger than you or two years older but now that I’m 22 I’m fine with 18 to 30 and maybe even past that.
