Maybe it made me cry because I'm just a pretty sentimental person, probably also why some moments in Natsume Yuujinchou made me cry too.

from what i remember the son was a dick for no reason and then got a happy ending? great movie, i cried (being raised by a struggling single mother it hit home) but his character seemed just...one note?

Dang, I remember bad animes like adventure Kid, cold devices and uruzukidoji - bad Bad memories. Sometimes it's not good being curious what the elder brother is watching.
