Living underwater

I love the idea of being able to process water into oxygen, (totally doable!!) with advances in nanoscience in order to create some kinda gel layer bubble that can process water into a giant bubble underwater, we can inhabit the sea floor little mermaid style, I t m ust h a p p e n let's put all that plastic in the ocean to good use and build a milk carton metropolis please

living underwater would be cool I do love the ocean. Feel like we have somewhat the technology build like undersea base like in subnautica.

Well parts of living underwater is like living in space, so I would hope that evolving to live underwater would help us evolve to live in space. I mainly got this theory from the anime "Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet".
