@Chocopyro: Ah, yes. I know what you mean. Indeed, once a person surpasses that damned 30 years old threshold, everything changes. Different life priorities make it difficult to connect with teens or people in their early 20s. I guess the only way to make it work is if the younger person is more mature and knowledgeable for their age and the older one still has youthful interests and mannerisms, a more innocent heart (this is crucial) and a LOT of free time... :-P But yes, Age Gap relationships are definitely not for everyone.
As for your second point, I agree. There seems to be an infantilization of younger people going on. As if society doesn't want them to mature or something. Trying to protect them from...life. And I keep reading that it's teenage boys and young men who struggle the most. Perhaps it has to do with fatherless homes and the lack of male role models. But this is a topic for another place I guess. Well, at least I try to guide my younger friends as best as I can in this rapidly-changing social landscape.
Thanks everyone for your kind words and warm welcome! ^_^
And I don't drink or smoke either. :-P

@中国の仙人Enki: Thank you very much! Being a writer, I tend to write long and boring walls of text. I talk a lot too. And I'm quite the overthinker. Not many people can handle me in that regard. You know how they say that men usually don't talk much? Well, I'm the opposite. :-P
Also, I just checked your profile and I loved it! Most beautiful description I've seen in a profile in here so far! And that 5th paragraph...pure poetry! You sound like you are one of those people whom you don't even know, but they give off that positive aura that makes you just want to hug them! :-)
And I describe myself as a Seeker of Knowledge in my Facebook profile too and I also state that Peace and Quiet is the best! I've studied religions, mythologies and philosophy too and I'm also an introvert. We have many things in common it seems.
Finally, allow me to congratulate you on your nickname and it's many meanings... ;-) My nickname is basically my real-life last name translated in English. However, in ancient Greek, my name doesn't only mean "The One From Beyond". It also means The One who Returned from Hades. The Revenant. And it also means The Distant, Unreachable One. It has a Divine symbolism basically and it's mentioned in the ancient Greek Mysteries. It's also taught during the first year of Philosophy studies in Universities worldwide. Us Greeks and our names... :-P But then again, as a fellow person who's descended from ancient civilizations, I'm sure you understand. ^_^
