SAO's setting has the potential to actually make great gaming-based stories but unfortunately the author isn't that creative. As we can see with the side works such as SAO GGO Alternative which actually was genuinely entertaining...but was written by an author who seems to actually play video games :u

Okay I'm going out of the topic but a mmo anime I would like to see is the light novel "Moonlight Sculptor" I feel like that could be a really fun one, the main character is really fun to watch
