I actually joined for the same reason... broke an 8 year track for me of never using a social media site besides FB o.O... You've got a good friend, they are awesome to try and help you get out more... or they could be a bastard as this site has had it's share of drama and the attack of the zombie fiends (thirsty holmes) may drive you to go back and live under a rock lol.
