I can't speak for all men, but I can definitely speak for myself. I would have the exact same reaction hahaha! I bet many other men would too. Unless your shaped like some Greek God. I mean, I'm not gay, but I've definitely taken it as a compliment when I've gotten hit on by men. A compliment is a compliment, yo. Equal acceptance of compliments.

As a dude, I honestly wouldn't care if I was catcalled by a men or women. But not everyone feels the same way. I can't speak for all women. But I have heard many women say that they don't like being cat called. If I'm wrong on my assumptions. Other women on here can comment and correct me. But I don't think many women would take catcalling as a compliment. There's a fine line between a compliment, catcalling and sexual harassment. If I dude yelled out from across the street to me, "damn daddy that ass be looking good today!" I would simple laugh it off and say ,"I know" Lol. But If a dude yelled out from across the street to a woman, "damn mommy that ass be looking good today!" I'm sure many women would not take that as a compliment. It could arguably go into the grey zone of sexual harassment. It is a double standard. But it's a double standard that I can live with. All do to the different power dynamics between men and women. Hence why I made the comment on catcalling for men. Again, what women actually think on catcalling could be wrong. Anyone on the opposite gender could correct me if I'm wrong.
