This is an interesting topic- one that goes very deep. I've bookmarked this for further listening later. I was lucky enough to have a very strong mother as a guide in my life (even at a distance) my father was one of those weak brutish male types who thinks that manliness and strength comes from your ability to take a hit and get back up- equally how much you can bench. So I completely understand this lack of decent male role models in many peoples lives. I've personally found what I struggle with in relationships with many females is they don't know how to handle me. Now I'm talking in a general sense here (related to the topics discussed). But what I mean by this is that I'm too "strong" for them. (again in context). I don't budge easy and I'm very level stable and fair. I've found alot of todays females struggle with this- I've even lost some relationships because I couldn't be preyed on. (I was also in an abusive one as the victim for a while but thats a long ass mess that I'd rather not get into). I've lost relationship opportunities as well because I wouldn't feed into manipulative behaviours by certain females. To summize: It's odd- I find many women who cry out for a real "man" when it suits them but they really want a beta- equally I know many guys who couldn't genuinely handle the responsibilities of being quote "head of the household" in any way beyond title. I've heard the term Manchild used to describe many of them as well. You talk about guys sending dickpics? I agree it's silly and vile (unless requested/in relationship) but i've lost count the amount of times i've been default approached as if I'm going to be come some femdoms slave. (usually monetarily). Like I said this is a pretty deep topic and I find there's fault on both sides- yet due to the strong surge of new-feminisim in the west the atypical male is roasted and emasculated constantly almost. I find you can't seem to win either way these days- yet no one talks about the manipulative females who exist that genuinely prey on weaker males- it's always talked about women being the victim but equally so are men. If a Beta male feels he can't win either way why would he try? I've seen this attitude constantly that basically you are default vilified because you have a penis doesn't matter if you are doing good or not. I don't fully understand how we got here but from discussions with older people it started in the 90s at least in the UK- but something needs to change soon I think. Men and Women are fundamentally different and are supposed to compliment each other. Apologies if some of that ran on a bit I'm running on no sleep right now xD
