Star Trek Lower Decks is written by Mike McMahan, he's from Rick and Morty. I haven't seen an entire episode coz its subscription only atm (for USA anyway, dunno if you can watch it easier outside of that).

I had an STO account since it became free back in 2012. Unfortunately, the learning curve is really high. I did not pick it up again until March of this year (coz I really have nothing to do at this time xD). It was still a hassle even though I had the time to learn to play it, but now that I am not getting assimilated by a borg cube everytime I see one, it has been a blast.
If you like Rick and Morty and you enjoy the older star trek shows, you might like it. :D
