So Anime Has A Fascism Problem Apparently...

beherit
https://archive.is/fnp4f In this article, the author was dismayed to see that in the new series ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept that; "Each government worker was clad in a black outfit: stylish and sharp with a hint of red near the shoulders" which reminded her too much of uniforms of the Schutzstaffel (SS) of Nazi Germany. She also complained how many other anime series like Attack on Titan and Full Metal Alchemist took place in "militaristic governments". She also noted Japan has yet to come to terms with the crimes it committed in World War II and somehow this reflects in anime. Does she have a point or is she just another whiny SJW?

The "black uniforms with hints of red, therefore Nazis!" bit does show a degree of ignorance from the author, being the Nazis were not the first nor the last to use Black ceremonial outfits. Interesting, I notice many cultures think the same way, there are only two types of people in this world: "us and not us", and not necessarily out of reasons related to xenophobia, but because for most of the time, the goings ons and people in other countries do not really matter because they are far away and off doing their own thing. Little/no interaction, although now in the 21st century with the world become more and more integrated such line of thinking might will diminish over time.
