Thoughts about 911?

Regardless of whether it was an inside job or not. Alot of innocent people died even if they werent from your country and didnt matter to you. They were still humans, possible entrepreneurs, possible moms to kids who would grow up to revolutionize technology, dads, brothers, sister aunts. For what? Pettiness....i get if you wanna teehee and laugh about it but not on their day. If you died in a horrible way you wouldnt want people joking about you

Anyway, I can clearly remember on 911 when it happened - that time, I had a big argue with my mother because I skipped school that day. Then the usual program of the television stopped and you could see the breaking news about the twin towers. For me, it sounded like a big joke, because it felt so unreal (I couldn't realize that it was real). The argue with my mother also stopped and we was worried about the people in New York.

no i agree, thats why i said you need to pick your crowd not everyone shares my views on coping, and if they want it to be a sacred day theyr 100% within their rights i agree everyone feels and handles things differently but i dont think you should tell people what they can joke about and what they cant joke about, but i agree that you can get mad at them for not being considerate of others around them if a family member of mine died in 9/11 i probz wouldnt want to see the jokes, but i still wouldnt tell them to not joke about it on my behalf, id just either ask them not to around me or remove myself i say freedom of the meme, but a freedom that comes with responsibility

I agree with the freedom with Lamby. It's the net and people are not going to be mindful since they have a barrier to protect them. Just best to ignore it if you don't like it.

I was in high school xD Yeah I remember I was studying in Chile at the time, and we all heard about it that same morning. Sucks for all the people involved. Sucks even more it was used as an excuse to invade Afghanistan and Iraq who had nothing to do with it. 9/11 will always have a double significance to me since that's the date of the coup in Chile that started a military regime, which hits closer to home to me personally
