Finally opening up about being an otaku for 20 years

I’ve been an otaku since early middle school, I didn’t have the best upbringing so I got lost in the worlds of dragon ball z , yu-yu hakasho , cowboy bebop and the like on toonami in the late 90s early 2000s. Since then the passion just flourished from dragon ball z sleeves and naruto/beeserk neck tattoos to my sons middle name being broly . Im only starting to be fully open now about how much I love anime and manga ive out on that tough guy exterior my whole life and was only myself around super close friends or at conventions. On here looking to meet like minded individuals and friends to talk about latest episodes etc I’m from a small mountain town so not many people that are at home watching Boku no hero academia the day it comes out lol. My top 3 would be (1)dragon ball in it’s entirety the first anime to make me lose myself to another world I was depressed for 2 weeks when super ended lmao (2)berserk , I relate to guts constant struggles and never stopping the manga helped me get through a lot (3) easily naruto I have Gaaras kanji tattooed on the side of my neck and his adopted son shinki in boruto is op.

Other then that though I’ve seen countless anime from 3x eyes and peacock king to megalobox plus I have a guilty please for romance style manga and can’t even put a number to the amount I’ve read
