Public transport perverts

Can I say this concept is foreigner to be? I never heard stories of that here, or never was I alarmed to that possibility. It's something extremely rare here in public transports (on the other hand we do have an enormous amount of pick pockets, almost got assaulted on the bus once lawl).

Public transit isn't really much of a thing here, I drive everywhere I go. It would be concerning on muliple levels if I somehow had a run in with a pervert in that kind of scenario.
