There are series worth watching that are not dubbed and likely never will be. I would say like 99% is never dubbed. There aren't many companies with official rights to import and dub. In fact Funimation as far as I know is the main one and I personally cannot name any others. And although I know of many apps/sites that have fans translating mangas, there aren't many fan dubbed productions of anime series that I know of and if there are it's probably done pretty poorly. I get where you're coming from and some series that are dubbed they did a great job, but I would recommend getting over reading subtitles. I promise you if you watch one good series subbed and get hooked, after a few episodes you won't even care anymore and you'll soon loose your irritation of reading subtitles. I would highly recommend a series like Welcome to the NHK. Yes there are great dubbed series like Restaurant to Another World or One-Punch Man. But you're really missing out :P

Or a show like Gintama, where most the jokes/references wouldn't translate over at all.

Any reason you feel this way?
There are a few shows I'll always watch dubbed...
Cowboy Bebop (obvious reasons)
DBZ (since I grew up with the dub)
Death Note (not sure why I originally watched this dubbed, but I really like L's English voice)
But for the most part, I go with subbed. I'd rather hear it in Japanese, although many Japanese voice actors seem to follow a similar voice acting style. I just like sticking to the original as much as possible.
I'm thinking about going with the dub for Black Lagoon when I re-watch it, though. I've heard it's one of the best dubs, competing even with Cowboy Bebop.
