"I still care about her even when I try to remove her from my life."
Basically what I'm going through too even though she hurt me....

It's very one sided, you did nothing wrong in fact you did everything right. I personally believe you care and like/love her more than she does. You're wasting your time unfortunately, and if you spent that money on her and just for her to not show up and such. She isn't the one for you, but that's just how I feel. And it will be really hard to remove toxic people like that (I understand completely) but you will feel so much better. Also, don't let her walk all over you, if you do she'll just think she can do whatever she wants and you won't do shit about it. Anyway, you can try to work with her but realize that you should be treated better.

Unbalanced efforts in a relationship is always bad! Coz eventually u feel frustrated and and destroy all ur peace of mind! And if the relo is failing then u wont feel like leaving partly coz u have put soo much efforts so u dont want it all to go waste, so as a result u put more efforts to correct the failing relo and when that fails(which it will) u again feel frustrated and that +ve feedback viscious cycle continues untill u r psychologically exhausted and destroyed!
I know u still care about her and everything, but just remember that u had to put in a lott of efforts to somehow work out this relo while she was eating potato chips and relaxing AND THAT WILL HAPPEN IN THE FUTURE TOO IF YOU SOMEHOW MANAGE TO GET IT GOING AGAIN! Moreover if a relo is working due to extreeme one sided efforts, then she is in the relo just for the lolz of it not coz of any real attachments! I have seen soo many of my friends getting trapped in that just to regret later on! TAKE A RAZOR and peel her off from ur mind, she doesnt deserve any place there. Its like playing a shitty RPG game, u continue playinh it only coz u r addicted and u feel like if u stop then all ur progress is gone and u cant live without it even for 1 second.. but when u stop the game for a week u feel like 'is that shit even a game? O.o'

Long distance can work. There are no explicit rules to dating and being in love. However, stress and tension itself can be the problem. If you can't talk with her about it, the problem is bound to get worse.
She my have had a legit reason not to be able to see you or to focus on where she was, but you two would've needed to talk about that.
I'm not going to say you're right or wrong. It's not about being right or being wrong. It's about staying together if you're willing to solve the problems in front of you, or leaving if you can't find a solution together.
