90% of my matching list are at least a year of absence, i saw several last used from 2014

I vouch for this there clusters of dead accounts on this site that need to be clean out. I think any accounts that haven't been used for One Year And older needs to be deleted.

YES I think this site had a big uproar in 2014-2016 and most people left after not seeing what the wanted.

There was alot of drama during that time, so yea many people left during that time

Yeah and a lot of popular websites have this issue but they usually just get rid of them after like a year of inactivity

I agree this site is pretty slow anyway so it would help if inactive accounts were deleted. doing this would also make the match function a little bit better.

i gotta disagree they could come back at anytime, and to see their account had been deleted just for being inactive would be strange and rude maybe just have an activity limit when it comes to being in recommended like half a year away you get switched to inactive and off any matches
